Meir graduated Hebrew University with degrees in Law and Economics and currently serves as the Kohelet Policy Forum Excutive Director.
Between the years 2009 to 2011 Meir worked as an advisor to the Likud faction in the Knesset, coordinating between the government offices and coalition members.
Born in Jerusalem but raised in Neve Dekalim on the Gaza Strip, Meir’s primary legislative work related to ensuring the integrity of communities evacuated in the 2005 Disengagement. Having completed this mission in 2011, Meir interned at the law firm Gornitzky & Co. in Tel-Aviv and was admitted to the Isareli Bar in 2012.
In addition to law, Meir has a deep passion for education. During his four years at university, he created and led three Aharai! (Follow Me, an Israeli NGO) groups in Jerusalem, preparing over a hundred young adults from the projects and absorption centers for a significant IDF service, using the skills he acquired from three years in the IDF Orev Givati combat unit. He is currently training for the Iron Man competition in his free time.
Meir is married to Sharon and resides in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
