Avital lives with her husband and four children in Karne Shomron. She holds an LLB with honors from Bar Ilan University and was an intern for the district court deputy president, Judge Shiloh. She is also a graduate of the Jewish Statesmanship Center.
Prior to her law studies, Avital completed her first year of bio-medical engineering in the Technion
with distinction. Ben-Shlomo switched fields of study with the ambition to take part in social and public activity that will eventually strengthen Israel's Jewish identity as well as the governabilty of the representatives. She likes hiking in the trails of Israel in addition to horseback riding and especially the combination of the two.
